Where corporate monitoring tracks movement and spending, thermal cartography tracks the conditions that kill people slowly enough to avoid attention.

The knowledge base is exactly one person deep. Mika learned the methodology from her mother. She has not taught it to anyone else. If she stops โ by choice, by circumstance, by corporate discovery โ thermal cartography stops with her. The Sprawl will still produce heat. Nobody will be reading it.
