Wholesome Basic Plus is the responsive variety-upgrade tier of the Wholesome Basic line — distinguished from standard Basic by harvest-gold edging on the kraft-paper banding and a 'Plus' addition to the cursive wordmark above the dispensary cabinet's dispense window. The variety is real: 3% increase in flavor variation, a slightly different texture, a flavor surprise the customer was not getting last week. The cabinet itself swaps the cursive wordmark above the dispense window from 'Wholesome Basic' to 'Wholesome Basic Plus' when Plus inventory is loaded — the change is mechanical and visible to passers-by, which the Operations division reports is what creates the "good week" recognition without requiring the customer to understand the mechanism.
