Guardian Defense

Made by Guardian

"Automated Vigilance, Authorized by Hand."

Overview

Guardian Defense is the automated extension of the Specialist patrol. Watchdog drones at patrol altitude, Sentinel variants on rooftops, Overwatch heavy surveillance always airborne over each sector, Suppression Turrets at corporate-armory installations, Barrier Projectors at the corridor entrances Specialists cordon. Every lethal system requires human authorization for engagement โ€” the authorization button always within arm's reach of the sentry operator, the Dead Hand Rule pairing every trigger to a verified human hand, the 1.7-second authorization lag built into the system as the difference between Guardian and the GUARDIAN that the corporation took its name from. The brand sells automated vigilance authorized by hand. Guardian's legal team sells the same product, in different language, as comprehensive liability documentation.

The economics are the part Facility Seven publishes only in production reports. The Watchdog Unit costs ยข2,400; the ordnance it carries costs more than the chassis. Average lifespan eleven weeks. Casualty reports describe drone losses as "collateral safety outcomes." The form has a checkbox. The Watchdog production line beneath the Watchtower runs three sub-levels of robotic assembly, twelve technicians watching across three shifts, output one unit every forty-seven minutes, no off switch โ€” only a surge switch, activated eleven times in the past fiscal year, never in response to decreased demand. The brand never describes this rhythm; the brand describes the platforms as "verified-defense systems on Protocol Manual cadence."

Packaging & Appearance

The chassis is the packaging. Matte navy plastic, embossed silver seven-pointed sheriff star, IBM Plex Mono unit-class designation, red optic lens at the head, Dead Hand Rule insignia stenciled on the side. Watchdog drones cycle at sixty meters in grid patterns; Sentinels on rooftops with light kinetic turrets; Overwatch overhead in the upper register against the Watchtower silhouette. The brand's industrial design brief specifies that "no Guardian Defense platform shall present an autonomous silhouette" โ€” the authorization console, the sentry operator's posture at the panel, the Dead Hand button, the coordinator routing logged on the screen are all rendered in the marketing photography as the perimeter the household has agreed Guardian holds, on Watchtower authority, on Protocol Manual cadence.
