The Relief Stream wall display is a matte soft-touch housing in cloud-blue plastic, with the ambient strip glowing softly along the frame and the recessed Relief seven-curve cloud mark on the bezel catching the ambient light only at certain angles. The "next in 5" countdown overlay is the only visible interactive element on the screen, and the brand guide describes its placement as "the ambient default register." There are no other on-screen controls. The display is meant to be reclined toward, not navigated. The next thing has, once again, already begun.

Relief Stream is the dominant streaming subscription of the Sprawl, a 14-million-hour content library on auto-play default with an average daily consumption of 4.2 hours per active subscriber. The recommendation engine does not optimize for engagement. Engagement, the brand strategy document explains, produces agency — the desire to choose, to seek, to compare. Relief Stream optimizes instead for session continuity: the probability that the user will not stop watching. The algorithmic difference is subtle and devastating. An engagement-optimized platform shows you things you want; a continuity-optimized platform shows you things you won't turn off. Internal testing confirms 2.7x longer sessions and 64% lower content recall — users cannot remember what they watched, only that they watched.
