The FP

Earfโ€™s Green Quatro Oasis

The Last Known Oasis

The FP is fictional Frazier Park on Earf in The FP film franchise, not a physical CyberSprawl district.

Mountains, Wastes and Bako

Mountain oasis on fictional Earf; Wastes beyond the green town.

The town riffs on mountainous Frazier Park in California, between Bakersfield and Valencia. It is a fictional setting, with no sector or map coordinates in CyberSprawl. Sprawl audiences reach it through a screen.

The maximum-security beat-beat prison lies out in the , in the ruins of Bako. The name carries Bakersfield into Earf's vocabulary. Farther away, the story reaches the Twinkies and wars across the Uni-V. The family begins with the oasis it knows; the films keep finding more beyond it.

Lush mountain country surrounds the town while dry mark the distance beyond it. The recreation hall gives the larger struggle a room, an arrow floor and people who can hear a faulty contact through conversation. A bad plate still has to be fixed before anyone can win.

Earlier recreation-hall images show patched doors, a liquor counter and trailer rows after rain. They are retained screen-adaptation studies. The flat service road in those images does not place Frazier Park at the Sprawl's Delta border.

The family at the platform

comes from the Twinkies or beyond. Her tribe, the Chais, opposes tyrannical beat-beat warlords who suck up the booze from worlds. She and fall in love during Beats of Rage. Their children carry the conflict into places their parents cannot always see.

The green place they fight for

KCDC holds a crate at the hall door while a crew member clears grit from an arrow contact. Beyond the door, Frazier Park is green. Beyond the mountains lie the . In , this is the last oasis known to and his family. FP gives the franchise its initials. The planet is Earf; the larger universe is the Uni-V.

People need booze to survive. Water is toxic. Beat-Beat Revelation settles control of the supply, and with it the and Earf. The crowd waits beside the platform. KCDC passes the crate over their heads toward the counter.

The supply and the feet

A member of taps the repaired contact with a screwdriver handle. The arrow lights. He taps it again before he steps away. The rival 245 has come to challenge for the room and its drink supply. The beginners are still waiting for their turn.

A challenger boasts that he can finish another can and keep beating. His heel misses the arrow twice. KCDC puts the unopened can under the bench. The challenger reaches for it, then steadies himself on the rail.

Screenings in CyberSprawl sell licensed at the counter. The town and its booze biology belong to the film.

The hall and the back of the mine

The hall concentrates the crowd around the next contest. Its open doors and shining arrows make control over a supply into something everyone can watch.

The booze mines hold a different possibility. When the mines start running dry, the family reaches an ancient Duck Wars artifact at the back. It is also called Beat-Beat Revelation. CHAI-TRO can use it with her feet to turn time back. After saving the world, the family destroys it because another use could become a disaster. The platform remains; the artifact does not wait in the mine for a later visitor.

Back at the hall, the crew member puts his screwdriver away. KCDC opens the door wider and lets the beginners through. They step around the crate to reach the arrows.
