Overview

Identity

CHAI-T is the otherworldly protector in films. CyberSprawl knows the franchise for its fights over and its many forms of Beat-Beat Revelation. AI can cast a public figureโ€™s likeness in the next film and supply the performance. The role stays recognizable when the face changes. A likeness sale can fund charity, a war effort or a political campaign; appearing in a film does not tell the audience which cause will benefit.

Within those stories, CHAI-T arrives from somewhere beyond the known world. She leads a tribe of magical warrior women, meets and has their daughter, CHAI-TRO. Her origin has no useful name. Her family does. That difference brings her back whenever she has the strength to leave.

She watches before she approaches. Her movement has a jaguarโ€™s composure: a loose, deliberate strut that can become a low, quick advance. When somebody threatens her family, the careful watching ends. She moves toward the person in danger, even if that gives the threat behind her room to act.

The Beatknucks cover her forearms and hands. CHAI-T can drive them into the ground and send people flying without laying a hand on them. She does not welcome a strangerโ€™s touch either. Her eyes carry their own power; the blue strengthens when she brings her forearms through the activation motion. A look can stop an approach before the ground strike sends it back.

The knucks need restoring. CHAI-T can meditate, practice yoga or have a drink. Empty Beatknucks do not leave her helpless: her strength and innate magic remain. The people beside her do not share that resilience.

fights for . CHAI-T also goes looking for the thing beyond the next stretch of road: a crystal, a needed source of power, something worth bringing home. She could fly away or call upon her warriors. She rarely reaches for everything she can do. and CHAI-TRO can be lost while her attention is elsewhere. She is powerful enough to leave and too attached to make leaving simple.

Her speech has an Australian turn and the FPโ€™s blunt confidence. She hisses when angry. After a fight she looks satisfied, then goes to check on somebody. Asking where she came from gets less attention than asking where her daughter has gone.
