GG
Move faster than the system can track.
You are GG โ invisible augments, reflexes faster than conscious thought. Every card you play ramps a Momentum multiplier; the numbers climb and the screen accelerates until the problem is smaller than you. Attacks are blur-fast claw slashes; defense is evasion โ slip the strike, leave an afterimage, keep moving.
Most operatives pick the right card. GG picks the next one. Every card you play adds a stack to your Momentum multiplier โ more cards means bigger numbers, right now, this turn. Dump the opening hand and you're already ramping. Chain eight cards by turn three and the fight is almost over.
The floor is the lowest in the roster for a reason: GG is the first operative everyone meets. But the ceiling is real โ sequencing for maximum throughput, fueling draw so Momentum never decays, and reading the Reflex Heat window separate a good run from a perfect one. Speed as skill expression, not a ceiling cap.
Momentum
Every card you play adds a stack to a persistent multiplier. The multiplier scales your output additively โ base damage plus a bonus for each stack. Momentum carries between turns within a fight; if you stall (play few cards in a turn), it decays. Keep the chain going and the numbers never stop climbing.
Turn 3: you've played six cards, Momentum sits at ร2.4, and it carries into turn 4. The next turn opens already elevated โ the fight ends by attrition and acceleration, not a single detonation.
The hand runs dry, Momentum decays, and the screen slows. Not "you got hit" โ it reads as you ran out of gas. The fix is draw, not power. That's the engine being honest.
Floor it.
Eight cards played in one turn: cyan slash, slip, slash, ghost-step, slash, slash, evade. The Momentum bar redlines. Each card hits a little harder than the last. The Reflex Heat gauge spikes into the hot zone and banks extra Momentum. Then the turn closes โ and the next one opens at the same elevated stack.
No single explosion. Just the screen getting faster and the fight getting smaller.
The only operative who wins by playing more, not playing right
El Money wins through stochastic loot-box volume โ more cards means more pulls, and the outcome is random. GG wins through deterministic card volume โ play more, Momentum multiplies, result is guaranteed. Speed vs luck.
CyberMaster rewards playing the right card on the right beat โ synced to an external cadence. GG rewards playing any card, fast โ raw throughput, no clock, no sync required. Volume vs timing.
If you love the action-game fantasy of going faster and faster until nothing can stop you โ or if this is your very first run โ GG is your front door into the Sprawl.
Pick your knob
Overclock the rate, sustain the engine, or crank the multiplier ceiling. Expert runs usually end up doing all three โ just in different proportions.
Overclock
A blur-turn of 8โ10 cheap strikes, the multiplier and screen accelerating. Burns through the hand fastest โ over-commit and you stall next turn.
Redline Engine
Momentum locked high every turn, grinding tanky fights down by attrition. Engine pieces aren't damage โ there's a setup turn before the loop closes.
Overdrive
Fewer cards, each hitting like a truck because the multiplier is cranked. Needs Momentum already built to matter โ the build-around lane.
Turn 1: dump the hand. Momentum starts climbing immediately โ the very first play is feedback that "more cards = bigger numbers." No rares required to feel the ramp. GG's floor is the lowest in the roster by design: she's the on-ramp every new player learns the game on.
Mastery means sequencing for maximum cards-per-turn, fueling draw so Momentum never decays, choosing which lane to push (rate vs sustain vs multiplier ceiling), and reading the Reflex Heat window for free edge. A smooth self-sustaining engine where the hand never empties and the numbers never stop climbing.
Ex-Guardian ops. Most wanted. The Glow nobody can explain.
Guardian's own Special Operations Lead โ until their paperwork killed her mother. Now she's the most wanted criminal in the Sprawl, the Feast's senior intelligence source, and carrying something inside her that even the people closest to her can't name.
