Wholesome Fresh is the "healthy" line in the Wholesome restaurant portfolio — salads, grain bowls, smoothies, all of them plated under the family kraft-banding aesthetic with the only color variation in the brand: a Garden Green accent (#228B22) on the seal sprigs and a green-wax-seal variant of the family red-wax. The marketing language is the grandmother's garden — the tomatoes were just picked, the lettuce was just rinsed, the smoothie was just blended, the bowl is just for you. The controlled-environment dome adjacent to The Greenhaus, where the Fresh-line vegetables are actually grown, is visible warm-and-rendered in the deep background of every Fresh-line marketing photograph. The dome is real. The greenhouse implication is the rendering.

The Satiation Delay Index for Wholesome Fresh, after the Phase 1 reformulation completed in late 2183, is 1.9 hours — the lowest in the entire Wholesome portfolio, restaurants and prepared foods alike. The repeat-order rate is the highest of any Wholesome restaurant brand. The Nutrition Science division's internal quarterly review describes this as "the validation of the reformulation hypothesis." The customer who orders a Wholesome Fresh grain bowl at noon orders another at three. The bowl was fresh. The bowl was light. The bowl was insufficient. The reformulation is what made it insufficient on purpose. None of this is acknowledged on the menu. The menu is a recipe card from grandma. Grandma grew the tomatoes herself.

Packaging & Appearance

Fresh entrees plate in kraft-paper-banded grain-bowl boxes sealed with the green-wax variant of the family red-wax, hand-feel cursive 'Wholesome Fresh' wordmark beneath the seven-pointed seal, garden-leaf sprigs in Garden Green flanking the seal where the harvest-wheat would normally flank. The mason-jar smoothie cups carry the same green-wax-sealed kraft band at the neck. The bowls are deliberately rounder than other Wholesome takeout — engineered to photograph generously even when contents portion to a 360-calorie target. The fork rests on the rim. The smoothie sweats. The dome is warm in the background. The customer is hungry again at 2:54 PM.
