Helix Proprietary Growth Solutions is the per-hectare annual license Helix Agricultural sells to industrial farms across the Sprawl: quarterly seed-stock allocation paired with proprietary nutrient packs that the seed organisms have been engineered to require. Yield runs 340% above legacy crops. Twenty-five percent of the Sprawl's food supply now grows from Helix-proprietary organisms in Helix-licensed soil. The brand is, by any measure, sincere. The seed is theirs. The harvest is yours by license. The license is the membrane through which the harvest is permitted.

The product is also, in regulatory terms, a closed-loop platform. Seeds are sterile by design — they will not reproduce without corporate permission, and the proprietary nutrient packs are the only growth medium Helix-licensed organisms will tolerate. A single growing cycle off-license sterilizes the hectare for legacy cultivation. The soil's microbiome has been calibrated to the Helix-proprietary nutrient profile. Switching back is, at the farm level, biologically not available. Helix Agricultural describes this as "the only honest response to the food security crisis the Cascade made permanent." Farms opted into a licensed platform that yields 340% more food per hectare than anything they were growing before. The Sprawl's food security problem, as a visible crisis, went away. An entire agricultural sector now operates without leverage — no legacy cultivar to revert to, no competitor platform compatible with Helix-engineered soil, no off-ramp that does not terminate in a sterile field. The license renews automatically. Lapse is the only alternative, and lapse looks like a failed growing season.

The core product is two components sold as one: the quarterly seed-stock allocation and the per-cycle nutrient pack subscription. Neither functions without the other — by design. The seed organisms are Helix-proprietary, sterile by default, and engineered to uptake only the specific nutrient profile the Growth Solutions packs deliver. Legacy soil amendments are incompatible. The Sprawl has, at this point, no viable alternative food production architecture at scale. Off-grid heirloom seed banks exist. They are small, they are legally complicated — Helix Agricultural has litigated the phrase "seed reproduction" into a regulated category — and their aggregate yield is not 340% of anything. The Gardens feed approximately 50 million people annually. That number is not, in product literature, presented as leverage. It is presented as care.

What the Sprawl's food-security regulators have not published: the threshold at which Helix Agricultural's license pricing becomes extractive versus the cost of feeding 50 million people through alternative means is not a calculation any public body has completed. The data required to complete it is proprietary. Helix Agricultural holds it behind the same credentialed-clinician NDA that covers nutrient pack composition.

The Gardens have excellent working conditions. The Gardens have a very nice fence. The brand's product literature does not pair these facts, and the brand is not wrong to separate them. They are, technically, separate facts.
