NecroSynthetik
Eden's Resident Signal
He is barely known beyond Eden, but its regulars trust him to choose music without profiles, requests, or recommendation engines.
Overview
Offstage, NecroSynthetik is quiet enough to be missed. Behind Eden's decks, he controls the room with exact, economical movements. The authority ends when the last track does. He has never tried to carry it outside.
Eden is a small bar in a shielded Undervolt junction below the Crossroads. Netrunners come because the walls frustrate tracking and the drinks are cheap. They stay because NecroSynthetik never asks what happened online.
Most music reaches the Sprawl through systems that know a listener before the first note. Eden offers the smaller promise of one person choosing for whoever arrived. NecroSynthetik is not popular. Inside that room, popularity is not the useful measurement.
He is saving to buy Eden from an owner who collects the narrow margin and rarely visits. Every repair makes the goal more expensive. He keeps repairing it anyway.
Appearance
NecroSynthetik is a lean human in his early thirties, with the slight forward posture of someone who has spent years over low decks. A worn black technical jacket carries patched cable loops and old drink stains at the cuffs.
Handmade cyan headphones circle a scarred neural-audio port above his right ear. Bruised-violet signal strips mark each repair generation. Under Eden's low teal light, the assembly looks deliberate from a distance and repeatedly saved up close.
Voice
He speaks directly and rarely. Offstage, most answers fit inside one sentence. Behind the booth, a lifted finger or a level look usually does the work, because regulars already know the rules.
Emotional restraint makes him dependable and difficult to know. He will discuss Eden's power draw, tomorrow's opening time, and a runner's safest route home. He will not discuss the implant or what music sounds like now.

Psych Profile
Signature & Tells
His headphones are rebuilt rather than replaced. Each failure leaves one retained piece in the next version, so nobody but NecroSynthetik can say which part is original. He checks their contact pressure before every set, then presses one palm to the mixer housing while cueing.
Drinks do not enter the booth. The rule is absolute, including water, and his only visible anger is reserved for anyone who tests it. Eden's regulars enforce the boundary before he has to.
A damaged neural-audio implant changed how he experiences music; he compensates through handmade headphones, physical controls, and vibrations carried through Eden's floor.
