Riff Rocketray
The Pattern in the Sky
Riff Rocketray is the Glowpatch friend for rhythm, sequence, and early pattern thinking.
Overview
Riff Rocketray lays three repeating light rings across a sky-space in the Glowpatch. The rocket trail shows first, next, next, and last. Riff leaves the final ring empty for a clap, a number, a color, or something nobody predicted.
Pogo Puddlepop supplies the surprise by landing outside it. Riff banks back and nearly wipes the crooked beat away. The metronome tail clicks once. Then Riff flies Pogo's splash pattern and lets the new repeat count.
The rings stay visible for slower counters. On the next pass, Pogo crouches at the old splash while Riff leaves a fifth beat open. Neither knows where Pogo will land. Riff does not erase the space.
