CyberDeck 0.7.0: Tinkerer Rebuilt, Cinematic Intro, and Steam Deck Polish
CyberDeck 0.7.0 rebuilds Tinkerer around clearer setup and detonation choices, opens each new game with a beat-synced CyberSprawl cinematic, adds a new combat soundtrack, and delivers a broad Steam Deck interface and bug-fix pass.
New Content
- New games now open with a beat-synced CyberSprawl cinematic that introduces the Nexus Spire before the title screen. The sequence preloads its art, uses deliberate shot timing, and can be replayed from the main menu.
- Combat now draws from a new original soundtrack, with a renamed title theme and smoother music handoffs after the game regains audio access.
- Stim recovery now has its own scanner and reward step. Stims no longer compete with salvage choices, and the recovery readout is easier to scan.
Performance, Interface, and Quality Improvements
- Tinkerer has a tighter, more distinct deck. Setup cards build Payload, detonators cash it out, recovery tools control the risk, and the combat display keeps Glitch and detonation results clear.
- All starting decks have been rebuilt to teach new players each operator's core mechanics. Each deck now reaches its setup and payoff sooner, with fewer cards that distract from the main game plan.
- Cards that once shared artwork now have distinct images, making hands and reward choices easier to read at a glance.
- Mouse players can preview cards by hovering in the shop and upgrade screen. After a card is played, focus also moves to a useful next card instead of jumping back without context.
- Combat now shows one clear player health readout, and the Bandwidth count remains readable during busy turns.
- El Money rerolls resolve faster while keeping the reveal readable.
- The fixed game stage now stays inside the Steam Deck frame across menus, combat, rewards, boss Chrome, and run-end screens.
Bug Fixes
- Achievements earned in the demo now carry into the full game without changing what each achievement means.
- Loot Box damage now completes the full enemy defeat flow, so rewards and combat state advance correctly after the prize lands the final hit.
