Provocation

If you could control exactly what every stranger may see and remember of you, would privacy become freedom — or a second full-time job the poor can’t afford to work? The seed’s specific 2184 mechanism: consent-veils, the per-encounter real-time contract for what each passerby may see/record/keep. The wealthy choreograph elegant selves; the exhausted poor run default-open because curating veils is unpaid labor they have no hours for. Privacy becomes a skill, and “privacy-poor” the cruelest insult.

This was the editorial green light: the privacy-bargain thread’s editorial_focus said “avoid broad new tagging unless a seed creates a specific 2184 mechanism.” This seed creates exactly that.
