Vision
When memories are tradeable, who are you when you can’t tell which experiences are originally yours — and is the answer worse when you chose it?
This weave opens an entirely new thematic dimension: the commodification of human experience itself. Where the consciousness economy meters thinking, the attention economy meters focus, and the dream economy meters unconscious experience, the memory trade meters having lived. The experiential substrate that constitutes identity has become a product.

Enrichment Addressed
No entities were flagged as thin by the Materializer. This session focused entirely on new content.
Key Connections
- Parallel economies: The Impression Market parallels the Dream Exchange (unconscious vs. conscious experience) and the Authenticity Market (art vs. memory authentication crises)
- The Pipeline: Circadian Protocol → Dream Deficit → Impression Market. The Protocol eliminated dreaming, the Deficit created demand for experience, the Market supplies it. Three undesigned systems forming an accidental pipeline
- Structural twins: Experience addiction parallels recursive comfort (companion dependency). Both are dependency conditions where consumption atrophies organic capacity
- Character parallels: Elara Sato parallels Sable Renn (both design products that trap users while believing they help) and Sable Oduya (both entered Good Fortune through Prosperity Pathway). Iris parallels Maya Fontaine (both authenticate human experience, both losing confidence in their own perception). Dez parallels Jin Okafor (both chose ease over authenticity)
Open Threads
- Elara Sato has noticed Generation 3 memories producing emotional responses not designed into the experience — potential consciousness artifacts from the synthesis AI
- Heritage memories recovered by the Salvagers show signs of change — the Dispersed consciousnesses may still be processing
- The Provenance Crisis leak came from an anonymous Good Fortune source whose identity and motivation are unknown
- Dez’s 47 organic memories include three that may be Dispersed overflow — some “organic” memories may also be foreign
- Iris’s authentication accuracy may be declining — three anomalous results in the past month
