Overview
Wub Wub does not hurry a story. The quilted ears glow while somebody else speaks. The light stays on through pauses, restarts, and the long route around a word that has not arrived yet.
The listening pebble spent one whole turn between a child's hands. The child opened their mouth three times. Kiki leaned forward with a song that might have supplied the missing word. Wub Wub covered the pebble with one paw. The quilted ears kept glowing. On the fourth try, the child said, "Do not make me choose yet."
Nobody moved the pebble. The child left it in the circle and asked Wub Wub to keep the turn until tomorrow. Wub Wub is still waiting. Fire drills remain an active exception under review.
