Overview
Vivi Violetwish treats a locked door as a question with hinges. The dream-ribbon opens another frame around the problem. It does not remove the problem. It changes the light until a hidden choice becomes visible.
One apology stalled at a locked door. The child holding it asked Vivi for a door where everything ended well. Vivi opened three. In the first, the friend forgave them. In the second, the friend asked for space. In the third, nobody answered yet. Tobi stood beside the last door and explained why it was the only one with a floor.
The child chose the third door. They tied one end of Vivi's ribbon around a note and left the other end loose for the friend. By morning, the ribbon was still there. The child sat beside it instead of pulling.
