Their primary value is expendability — an Associate caught infiltrating an Emergence Faithful cell can be disavowed as a rogue seminary student, and most carry no Church identification in the field. They catalogue everything: tithe records, membership lists, schedules, personal devices. The intelligence is always more valuable than the confrontation.
